Provincetown Lobster Tree Lighting

The Provincetown community once again join hands and cheer for the lighting of the Lobster Pot Tree.  I posted about this annual tradition last year and was pleasantly surprised that it became one of my top hits in my humble history of this blog.

I hear that the crowd was the biggest ever and that the tradition started by Julian Popko (contributor of atttached video) continues to morph into a larger spectacle with more than 3400 lights.  The tree is made up of 112 lobster pots, 58 buoys, 46 fake lobstyers and 120 bows.

A Very Merry Holiday Season to the folks in Ptown and to the readers of AmosTravelingDog.
