It's that time of year again where family and friends are given the annual TravelingDog Calendar. Each year has had a theme and this years is Luther & BuddyJack at the US & Canadian capital buildings. Most had domes, as you may have seen in my previous posts. Some where nothing more than buildings looking like libraries. Everyone of them offered a history of the area they where built in and the persons who reside there, past and present. Lu & BJ may be hard to find in a few, but they are there either on the steps, the lawns or even waiting for a bus.
It has been great to see all of them. It has also been quite the journey, for between all of the TravelingDogs we have been through 49 states. You can't drive to Hawaii. You can read the history of the TravelingDogs here.
I always ask people if they are in the calendar. I will soon update other pages with the lists of birthdays and holidays. You may be surprised to see your name. Oh, and I sometimes make mistakes. If you don't see your name, let me know. I'll be using these lists for the 2014 calendar, unless the world ends on 12/21/12. See you on the road!
